Born in Ueda, Nagano. Saw his first 3-pronged transistor when he was in the 3rd year of primary school, fell in love and began making vacuum tube radios. Made walkie-talkies in secondary school. While attending the national technical college manufactured and sold his own vacuum tube black-and-white television sets together with dormmates and sold them through a local electronics shop. In university ran TV repair business with student friends with a phone number to the dormitory and advertisement printed at the university. Upon graduation, worked at the research center of a major computer manufacturer and then became a freelance technical consultant in Southeast Asia. Founded RF SYSTEM lab. in 1993 and registered it in 1998 as RF Co., Ltd. Succeeded in developing a battery-free capsule endoscope, the first of its kind anywhere, in 2001. In 2006, centering on our R&D concept, "greater and deeper consideration of patients, us", developed a low-cost (1/5 of the market price), high-performance, low-exposure digital x-ray sensor, and RF entered into the x-ray field. In 2011, developed a 3D dental x-ray applying the latest idea of cone beam CT technology, and industrial 3D CT scanner in 2013 and a compact desktop size industrial 3D CT scanner in 2016 and so on. Continuing to develop new products with creative and innovative ideas and never stop to appraise users and the public.
