Now, I was able to use the dark room for x-ray as storage which made my office much cleaner. This is as good system for much less! I love the system! It was not difficult to learn to use and the quality of radiographs is excellent. I am taking more radiographs than ever! When time is tight, especially during an appointment, I can take a radiograph quickly. Used to be the pet would have to be dropped off for the day. Also, retakes are fewer and easier.The greatest difference is time. We can take 6 or 7 radiographs in the time, instead to take and develop only 1. Also the number of retakes is gently reduced. They appreciate of the time saving. They also find it nice to take home a CD or a printed picture of the radiograph.

I like it very much. It saves time and money, and there are no chemicals to buy, change or dispose of. The time saving for employees allows them to concentrate on other income producing jobs. The NAOMI system has allowed us to save money on film and developing fluids, but the biggest saving has been in staff time. With continuing environmental concerns we were looking at costs for disposal of the developing fluids.The biggest change in the clinic has to do with the speed of getting the images. The staff can now have the x-rays ready to look at within minutes. Before the client would have to wait, or come back later. Now I can review them, retake them or get another view before I go into my next appointment. It is quicker and easier to get the image, and there are no fluids to deal with, no processers to clean and maintain.The clients like the speed and they like that I can show them the image in the exam room on the computer screen.
